PIR floodlights were installed and high level wall wash lighting highlights the store from the road

Tesco Express, Sale, Cheshire

Carmel has recently completed Electrical and Mechanical installations to the new Tesco Express store in Sale, Cheshire. As with all Tesco Express stores the works were completed in 15 working days.

The store was converted from a derelict public house called The Piper; the local residents expressed their delight on hearing that this site had been chosen for a Tesco Express store.

Message from local resident:

“I am a local resident living next to the Tesco building site on Norris Road. I am pleased that something is finally being done with the derelict site of the former pub which had become a playground for kids but a nightmare for us.”

Due to the previous issues with the site PIR floodlights were installed throughout the rear of the store and high level wall wash lighting was used to highlight the store from the main road.

Carmel now undertake up to 50% of all new Tesco Express Stores, with 60 to 70 completed each year. Projects are now being delivered on a fifteen day working programme.
