The Sainsbury’s Moortown Superstore project, involved a multi-disciplined Carmel team in the replacement of new for old LED luminaries, alongside new service installations for power, feature lighting, extraction and plumbing. Carmel refreshed existing and brand new, key, access areas for customers and staff within the store, additionally, some external perimeter LED lighting was installed.
A central requirement, of this particular installation project, was the lighting of new counters and power supplies for new refrigeration cabinets.
Feature lighting was installed in produce and beers/wines/spirits. Services were installed in a newly created area for customer service, travel money and kiosk sales; plus a ‘Patisserie’ and counter had been formed in the bakery which required plumbing and extraction services in addition to new lighting and power. All sanitary ware was replaced in customer washrooms.
LED lighting was reconfigured to the latest specification in all designated areas of the store and the whole refresh project was completed on time and working to ensure the best interests of the customer.
